'Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when He cometh shall find watching.' Luke 12:37
We Hutterites are now living in a golden age. Never before in our history has there been such a long period where the authorities have left us alone to live and worship as we wish. The communities we live in are safe, secure and prosperous.

When the seed gets planted it starts to germinate and life springs forth . The emerging plant rapidly finds new energy sources apart from the seed. The roots search downwards for nutrients and water while the new leaves unfurl upwards towards the life giving sun. The seed, rapidly depleting, is soon dead. It has se....

Homosexuality, what are we to make of it?
Written by: Louie Vetter on Thursday, April 14th, 2016
It seems everywhere you turn these days you see and hear of gay pride, gay marriages, homophobia, gay tolerance and gay bashing.
What are we Hutterites to make of all this? Where should we stand? Didn't Jesus talk of love and forgiveness?
Matthew 19:4-5 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one fl....

Making invitations, discussing whom to invite, designing a cake and choosing wedding dresses...it takes a lot more to prepare for a wedding then us menfolk realize.
As time was getting closer I realized that in only a few short weeks Amanda will have left home. (Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be on....

Pentecost & Communal Living
Written by: Louie Vetter on Monday, May 28th, 2012
The Pentecostal holidays are some of the most important days that Hutterites celebrate because those days commemorate the descent of the the Holy Spirit on Christ’s Apostles, the beginning of the early Church and the arrival of the first apostolic communities. Hutterites follow this example and share material goods in common.
After Jesus was crucified and then rose from the dead, he spent 40 days on earth showing himself to be alive to many and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.
Then before Jesus ascended into heaven....
